About Divya

As a CELTA-certified English educator with over seven years of international experience, I use communicative, learner-centered methods to make language learning engaging and purposeful. About the lesson

As a CELTA-certified English educator with over seven years of international teaching experience across India, Türkiye, and the UAE, I believe that learning happens best when students feel empowered, engaged, and understood. My approach is communicative, student-centered, and rooted in fostering curiosity and confidence in every learner.
I use a blend of interactive, inquiry-based, and differentiated instruction—tailored to meet the diverse learning styles and abilities of my students. I often integrate digital tools, visual aids, and real-life contexts to make lessons meaningful and enjoyable. Whether it’s through role-play, debates, or creative writing, I ensure language learning goes beyond grammar and vocabulary to include critical thinking and authentic communication.
Structure of a Typical Class
A typical session begins with a warm-up or starter activity that sparks curiosity or reviews prior learning. This is followed by the core lesson, where I present new concepts using guided discovery or task-based learning. Students then practice through interactive activities—pair work, group discussions, or written exercises—followed by a reflection or mini-assessment to consolidate learning.

My training in voice and accent helps learners develop global communication skills, while my background as a Head of Department equips me to design effective curricula and mentor learners toward excellence.
