About Filipe
Filipe Massumi began his studies with Professor Suzana Kato, at Neojibá, then took a scholarship at Leed's College of Music, UK. He was professor and monitor of the SESI NEOJIBÁ Orchestra Center for four years, soon after moving to São Paulo, where he currently resides. The musician acts especially in the area of cello in popular Brazilian music, participated in major international festivals such as the Brazilian Summer Session and the Euro Young. In Brazil he has already shared the stage with national artists such as Vanessa da Mata, Céu, Fafá de Belem, Otto and Zé Miguel Wisnik.

Hello friends, I am starting the year with the Cello Course for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. (INDIVIDUAL CLASSES) Flexible hours, Two optional modules - Scholar and Popular Scholar: BASIC: introduction of scales, basic techniques, DOTZAUER method, repertoire to be combined. INTERMEDIARY: Scales - Dotzauer method, Feuillard - Positions Studies David Popper - Studies of Arco - Method Ševčík. Repertory to be combined. Popular: The Cello in Brazilian Music - Improvisation method, Luciano Alves scales, introduction to rhythms, exploration and research of popular repertoire, arrangements made in collective construction. Schedule an experimental class, I teach at my residence in the center of São Paulo.
