About Abdullah
My name is Abdullah and I am passionate about writing, reading, public speaking and of course, helping students achieve their goals. Besides having maintained excellent grades in English since secondary 1, I have a passion for Thesis writing, argumentative writing, reading, public speaking and debate that I cultivated in experiences such as Model United Nations and business pitch competitions. Moreover, my love for helping students achieve their goals goes back to volunteering with students in digital literacy, light coding, entrepreneurship and reading. I am also perfectly bilingual in English and French, and can thus tailor lessons to students who are more proficient in French. Fun fact: my favorite novels are Le Comte de Monte-Cristo and To Kill a Mockingbird.

My goal is to help students navigate English classes and tests, as well as improve general proficiency. Starting off lessons by chatting, I move into working on areas students struggle with. I make lessons as interactive and fun as possible, with translation exercises, mock speeches, fun debates and writing exercises on topics students care about. I end lessons talking about what students are concerned about regarding their learning.
As a second year CEGEP student, I tutor levels below mine (kindergarten to first year CEGEP).
