About Hsiu-Ling
Hello, I have a Bachelor in Biology (honours) and a Bachelor in Computer Science. My interests include nature and the arts which are important components in problem solving, I believe.
I have some experience in tutoring. Chinese is my first language. English is my second language. I completed my entire education in Canada, so I am fluent in English. I completed secondary school in a French Immersion program.

I enjoy helping people master the fundamentals. I believe listening to the student is important.
The lessons are for anyone who wants to improve their elementary and middle school math skills. I am open to helping with secondary school math skills, also.
The free lesson will be what a regular lesson is like: an area is covered. The student will quickly get a feel if this approach will work for him/her. If the student wishes to pursue further lessons, a simple assessment of the student's skills will be determined, goals are discussed and a plan will be drawn up to ensure goals are met.
The lesson can be in person at a public place (not at a student's house) or online. I am flexible. Please let me know if there is something you need that I have not already mentioned.
