About Berta

I have more than 8 years of experience giving private lessons and for different schools of the Barcelona Education Consortium.

Teaching lessons from children to adults, nationals or foreigners. Since I was little I have received a bilingual education; Spanish and Catalan. Due to paternal influence (I have a journalist father who has insisted a lot on literacy) I have always had a great love for languages, their use and the influence they can have on society. I am a graduate in Criminology, so I have a great interest in meeting people and in being able to contribute my knowledge to someone who needs it and wants to apply it. That is why I have been lucky enough to be able to participate in teaching programs for children and young people at risk of social exclusion in Barcelona.

About the lesson

I always adapt the contents according to the needs of the students. Thus, the sessions can vary according to your interest. For example, if you have to prepare for a specific exam, I would focus more on the contents that are raised in the specific exam; If what interests you the most is to focus on pronunciation and speaking, we would reinforce that aspect; We can also make corrections of written works, focus on reading and written expression or on grammar.

I always have a great interest in my students and to understand what their motivations are, so the classes are entertaining and, at the same time, efficient.

Berta es una persona muy responsable que siempre da el 100% de si misma en todo lo que hace. Es una persona paciente, empática, siempre detecta la necesidad de las personas con las que trata, y es por eso que considero que es muy buena profesora. Además, domina perfectamente el catalán, ya que es su lengua nativa y la ha estudiado y se ha interesado por hablarla correctamente siempre. Si quieres aprender catalán, no conozco nadie que enseñe mejor que ella.!

Llevo unas cuantas clases con ella y estoy encantada! Me enseña mucho, ya que las prepara según tu nivel. Es muy divertida y muy dulce! M'agrada molt!
