About Carolina

Welcome! I'm Carolina, a 30-year-old Mexican woman and eternal learner. In 2019, I embarked on an exciting exchange experience as an Au Pair, where I immersed myself in teaching while helping children adapt to homeschooling during the pandemic. Sharing my culture was a fulfilling aspect of this exchange, with language playing a central role.

I used games and real-life experiences to immerse the children in the language, fostering a practical approach to learning. While I don't have formal experience teaching adults, as a foreigner, I understand the challenges of learning a new language firsthand. Just like I learned a new language from scratch, I believe you can too—with patience, practice, and determination.

Learning a language is a journey we can enjoy together. Let's make learning Spanish engaging and effective, where we both learn from each other's experiences. I look forward to helping you achieve your language goals and sharing the joy of cultural exchange along the way.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I adopt a personalized approach tailored to each student's learning style and goals. I emphasize interactive and engaging methods such as games, role-playing, and multimedia resources to make learning enjoyable and effective. For grammar and vocabulary, I use structured exercises and real-life examples to reinforce understanding.

A typical lesson plan begins with a brief review of previous topics before introducing new material. I incorporate speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises to develop well-rounded language skills. Each session concludes with a recap and practice assignments to reinforce learning outside of class.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect personally with students, understanding their unique challenges and motivations. I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident practicing and applying their Spanish skills.

My lessons cater to learners of all levels and ages, from beginners to advanced speakers. Whether preparing for exams, improving conversational fluency, or exploring Hispanic culture, I adapt my lessons to meet specific needs and interests. Each session is designed to foster not only language proficiency but also a deeper appreciation for Spanish language and culture.
