About Sujatha

I am a passionate Carnatic vocalist with over 30 years of experience in performing and teaching this rich classical art form. Having trained under esteemed gurus, I have developed a deep understanding of the nuances of ragas and kritis. Over the years, I have had the privilege of mentoring students of different ages and backgrounds, guiding them from their first swaras to confident stage performances. My approach is both professional and personal—combining structured lessons with individual attention to inspire every learner to connect with the soulful essence of Carnatic music.

About the lesson

With over 30 years of dedicated experience in Carnatic music, I offer personalized vocal training designed to nurture both beginners and advanced learners. Lessons cover fundamentals, krithis, Bhajans, Slokas and improvisation techniques. My teaching blends traditional methods with modern learning approaches, ensuring each student develops strong foundations, expressive singing, and confidence in performance. Classes are interactive, structured, and tailored to individual pace, helping students appreciate the depth and beauty of Carnatic music.
