About Jim

Is math eating your lunch? And robbing you of any hope you may have of academic success?? It doesn't need to be that way. When understood in simple ways, the methods just fall into place and it clicks. Sometimes we need it 2-3 times before it sinks in. You've endured 1 time in class and may be as confused as ever. Let's see if we can do the 2nd and or 3rd time and make this just click for you. I'm a math geek and really enjoy helping turn the light on for others.

About the lesson

*Tackling assignments together and spending time on struggling math and science topics
*Review topics taught at a high level before diving into the particulars of the problems; work through assignments to build confidence
*I love math and was lucky to have fantastic teachers along the way. Methods they used to help cement these principles in my mind are still kicking around in there and something I hope to share. My approach has been honed by my own kids in our home tutoring sessions.
*Math-up through secondary, high school level.
