About Iana
Hi! I'm Graduada Paraiso. I've been practicing capoeira since 2007. I have degrees in Physical Education and Pedagogy. Over the years, I've also taken professional development courses such as Yoga for children, Educational Kinesiology, Adapted Physical Activity, Psychology of Children's Play, and others to better understand the connection between psychology and movement and to be able to help each student with what they need most.

For me, capoeira is incredible: it unites what no other art form unites. Fighting, dance, music, history, and play - all together to balance body and mind.
As a teacher, my focus is on the health of my students, respecting the pace and limits of each one. That's why I teach the 'how,' the 'when,' and the 'why' of each step, so that you can take what you learn in training into your life.
