About Shayana
I am a college student from Montreal, Quebec. I've been learning French as my 1st language for 12 years. I have been tutoring high school and elementary school students in French and English for almost a year and a half now.

Depending on the student's needs, I focus first on their weaknesses (e.g. comprehension, accent, fluidity of words, etc.) and gradually broaden the spectrum. At the beginning of each class, I try to figure out the student's exact level of French and what they have learned/forgotten since our last class in order to teach them new things or reteach whichever information wasn't clear. These classes are mostly ditected towards students from grade 1 to 11 who are either learning French as their first or second language or are trying to get a head start for the upcoming school year.
