About Justin
I’m a third-year Mathematics and Physics student at the University of Toronto with experience tutoring throughout high school and university. I’ve completed rigorous courses that extend and deepen the concepts taught in high school math and physics, either by building them up from first principles or applying ideas in novel ways that extend these topics in many directions. This experience has led me to have a very deep understanding of the topics commonly taught in high school physics and math classes, and it allows me to be able to teach these topics to others.

When someone struggles with a math or physics concept, it's usually because they’ve missed a key idea earlier on. I keep this fact in mind when I approach a new complex topic. If something doesn’t make sense, I always step back and make sure all the foundations are solid first. Once that’s done, everything else always becomes much easier to understand. I use this method when I tutor, and it has worked every time. I’ve helped peers and students build real understanding and reach the level they’re aiming for.
