About Matt

I have a bit of an eclectic acdemic history! I have a Bachelor of Communication (Journalism), a Diploma of Management, over a decade of experience in data modelling and analysis roles, and although most of my experience is gained through use in applicable roles, I have also completed some more formal Excel training. I am also a pianist, having completed my 8th grade AMEB practical piano examinations, and I've played with a few bands in and around Melbourne in my time. Music is a big love. I'm currently studying a Bachelor in Audio Engineering, but I want to utilise some of my Excel knowledge (as well as connected programs) to help others in the meantime. Whether you want to get your head around the concepts and mechanics behind spreadsheets and data sets, or just get more familiar with Excel etc. for personal use, I'd love to help :)

About the lesson

I'm happy to spend some time with you walking through the possibilities in Excel, whether you just want to understand more about formulas or functions, or if you have a spreadsheeting problem you're trying to solve, etc. It's up to you what we go through :) I like to spend some time helping to developing an understanding of how a program works, so that you can find your own way to use the tools later on.
