About the lesson

I believe learning is most effective when it is both interactive and personalized. I adapt my methodology to each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals, whether that means focusing on grammar, pronunciation and phonetics, academic writing, or creative expression. I use a mix of practical exercises, real-life examples, and interactive activities to ensure that students not only understand the concepts but also feel confident applying them.
A lesson usually begins with a short warm-up activity to engage the student and assess their mood and energy. We then move into the core part of the session, where I introduce or review a concept using examples. Students then practice the skill through guided exercises, discussions, or creative tasks. I always end the lesson with feedback, a recap of key takeaways, and optional suggestions for practice at home.
What makes me unique is my ability to combine structure with creativity. I bring storytelling and games into my lessons to make them memorable and enjoyable. My multilingual background (as a French and Korean) also helps me understand the challenges of learning a language from the learner’s perspective, which allows me to explain concepts in a clear and empathetic way.
My lessons are designed for elementary students (kindergarten to grade 6), as well as adults who want to improve their English for work, studies, or personal interest. I tailor lessons to each learner’s needs, whether that’s preparing for exams, building confidence in conversation, mastering academic writing, or exploring the art of creative writing.
