About Sarah
I always excelled at academics especially Math and English. Starting as early as the fifth grade, I was sent to help tutor the lower grades. One of my first college courses, taken at the University of CU Denver, was all about learning basic teaching skills and involved tutoring first and second graders. This required a lot of patience and repeat explanations in different ways. I also tutored my cousin all throughout high school.

I don't have a typical lesson plan or a set way that I can or will teach you. Each student learns differently, and I have no intention of creating a pattern for myself. I will teach you the way we determine you learn best. If you need hands on activities, I'll create some. If you need a lecture, I can do that. If you need visuals, I can map it out. A tutor's job is to help you help yourself which requires a lot of flexibility.
