About Jerry
Learning syntax is always harder than it looks at first. Starting from scratch requires patience and a willingness to break things before you fix them. I guide you through HTML and CSS as the entry point before moving into debugging techniques and object-oriented programming. We apply these concepts to web development and data structures to ensure you understand the full backend stack.
I include weekly practice problems on coding platforms with review to sharpen your technical intuition. My background with an MS Business Analytics degree ensures that we never lose sight of the end goal of building efficient software. I am here to help you move toward writing production-ready code independently.

Coding is often seen as a black box, but for me, it is just another form of structured communication. After 12 years of working in analytics, I have found that clean code practices are just as vital as the logic behind the algorithms. I have taught 95 students who range from hobbyists to those prepping for entrance exams by focusing on the core data structures that underpin all development. My transition from analytics roles into technical instruction allows me to explain the why behind every line of JavaScript or backend API architecture.
We prioritize project based learning to ensure the theory sticks. Simplicity in execution is my primary standard.
