About Flavio
Hi there!
My name is Flavio. I'm a PhD researcher at the University of Cambridge. In my free time at Cambridge, I am a member of the Physics Society committee, I fence and I go gliding (yes, I fly a plane!).
I represented Italy in the 2016 International Astronomy Olympiad (IAO) and in the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO), where I won a bronze medal. As I wanted to encourage more students to take part in the Astronomy Olympiad, I wrote a book: “Fundamentals of Astronomy, a guide for Olympiads” (available in both English and Italian).
