About Jack
Hi! I'm Jack. I recently finished my A-Levels and have an offer to study Mathematics at the University of Cambridge. I specialise in tutoring GCSE, AS, and A-Level Maths and Further Maths, helping students build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve their academic goals.
I am predicted 4 A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Computer Science, and was awarded a Distinction in the British Mathematical Olympiad Round 1, placing me among the top 250 school mathematicians in the UK. These experiences have developed not only my mathematical ability but also my problem-solving skills, which I believe are at the heart of success in mathematics.
Alongside my studies, I was a Maths Ambassador at Framlingham College, where I supported younger students and regularly tutored my peers. I also have experience tutoring GCSE Maths students, giving me a strong understanding of how to explain difficult concepts clearly and adapt my teaching to different learning styles.
Having only recently completed my GCSEs and A Levels, I understand the current specifications, exam techniques, and the topics that students often find most challenging. Rather than simply teaching methods to memorise, I focus on developing genuine understanding and problem-solving skills, helping students tackle unfamiliar questions with confidence while mastering every part of the syllabus.

After each lesson, I'll provide practice questions, follow-up work, and notes from the session to reinforce what we've covered and help monitor your progress.
Having recently completed my GCSEs and A Levels, I understand the challenges students face and what it takes to achieve top grades. In maths especially, I know which concepts students often struggle with and where small gaps in understanding can make a big difference.
