About Rhys

I’m a Cambridge Mathematics graduate and current Applied Mathematics PhD student. I achieved A*A*A*A*A* at A-levels including grade 1 in STEP 1,2,3. Self-taught to university level, I understand how best to develop an understanding needed to flourish in the subject.

About the lesson

The aim of each lesson is to build intuition and understanding of each topic before moving on to worked example problems and past exams questions suited to the student and the course, finally providing advice and work once the lesson has ended. I will also mark and discuss any work the student may bring to the session.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the teacher's students.

Perfect! Rhys is a brilliant tutor who can break topics down and explain them in really digestible chunks. He helped me on the MAT test this year and really helped me improve my confidence and ability in maths, which in turn was really useful in the exam.

Perfect! Rhys has been able to focus lesson on the specific needs of my son and explains clearly. He is very relatable working at the right pace & is very encouraging. My son feels much more confident after just two lessons and is now much happier going back to school to take his mocks.
