About Loïc

Having recently graduated from the University of Cambridge, I am now living in London and will begin studying for my MA in September 2017. As such, I am flexible with both timing and location within Central and Greater London, from September onwards.

I have tutored as well as taught in the classroom for several years now, across a variety of subjects and ages. For English and French at school level I aim to provide students with the more general skillset needed to excel, along with specific exam practice. I focus on discovering and honing each student's individual strengths, whilst working together to develop strategies for areas they may find more challenging.

This method also applies well to Oxbridge interview and personal statement preparation. Having gone through the system myself, as well as guiding others through it successfully, I understand the attributes interviewers look for; rather than infallibility or masses of knowledge, it is a particular approach to learning that really attracts their attention. It is this that I aim to help my students understand and achieve. I can tutor specifically for English, and more broadly across the humanities.

Additionally, I have experience with younger children and students with special needs, and can also be booked for French conversation tutoring for any age or level.

I have put up a few examples of available lessons, but can cater for many more time-slots; please send me a message if there's a particular date and time you would prefer.
