I learned math and physics at the leading technical university in the world, Caltech, where you are not only taught subject material but also how to apply that knowledge to new problems that you encounter. I teach troubleshooting techniques to students to enable them to problem-solve on their own, whether it be for schoolwork or standardized tests such as ACT, SAT.

I adopt my teaching methods to each unique student by listening to their reasoning and understanding how they learn. I explain the principles behind problem concepts so that they can apply these to new problems that they haven't encountered before. This approach provides them with a toolbox of problem-solving techniques, as opposed to simple memorization of an equation.
