About Tess
I take great care to personalise tutoring sessions around the student and their particular learning journey. And it works! Some of my students are now studying at university, having passed their exams with my support - including students for whom English is not their first language.
I never take a one-size-fits-all approach. At GCSE and A Level, each exam board assesses differently, so whilst building students' knowledge and writing skills, I also tailor towards their exam board requirements so that they feel confident and prepared come assessment time.

I tutor at EYFS, KS1 and KS2 (all subjects), specialising in English Literature, English Language, Drama and Performing Arts at KS3, GCSE and A Level.
I am an alumnus of the world-class Oxford School of Drama and the University of Chichester Conservatoire. I work part-time as a Performing Arts & Drama Teacher and offer 1-to-1 coaching for LAMDA performance exams.
I also work part-time as a professional writer and can also offer reading and writing support, essay-writing and creative writing tutoring services for school-age children and young people.
