About Musawwir

With over six years of experience in the business industry and a strong academic background in Business Management, I bring both real-world insight and academic expertise to my tutoring sessions. My studies and professional experience have allowed me to develop strong skills across several subjects, including English, Geography, Science, and Business Studies. I’m passionate about helping students not only understand their coursework but also discover their own strengths and interests in the subjects they study.

I have done tutoring sessions for 2 years while I was studying for my A levels where I taught students in the younger years mainly helping in English and science

I am familiar with major UK exam boards such as Pearson Edexcel and AQA, and I tailor each lesson to meet the specific requirements and expectations of these boards. My goal is to equip every student with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to achieve their best possible grades.

My Teaching Approach

I believe that every student learns differently, so my lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and adaptable. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps while encouraging critical thinking and independent learning. By connecting academic topics with real-world examples, I help students see the relevance of what they’re learning and feel more motivated to succeed.

About the lesson

Lesson Structure (1 Hour)

1. Introduction (5–10 minutes):
Review previous content and outline objectives for the session. This helps reinforce prior knowledge and sets clear goals.

2. Concept Exploration (15–20 minutes):
Introduce new material using interactive discussions, examples, and visual aids. Students will learn key terminology and underlying concepts.

3. Applied Practice (15–20 minutes):
Work through exam-style questions or case studies. I guide students step-by-step through the process of analysing and answering effectively.

4. Exam Technique (10 minutes):
Focus on revision strategies, time management, and understanding examiner expectations. We also review common mistakes and how to avoid them.

5. Feedback and Next Steps (5 minutes):
Summarise key takeaways from the lesson, assign short tasks or reading for consolidation, and set targets for the next session.

Through this structured yet flexible approach, I aim to ensure that every student gains confidence, improves their understanding, and performs successfully in coursework and examinations.
