About Clementina

I am a native Italian speaker from Venice with a strong academic background, currently studying Business at the University of Edinburgh. Having taken Italian and English at Higher Level in Sixth Form, I combine cultural authenticity with proven study techniques to deliver engaging, effective lessons. More importantly, I understand the challenges of learning a language and enjoy helping students of all ages grow in confidence while achieving their goals.

About the lesson

I organise my tutoring sessions flexibly, offering 1 hour lessons (though I can adjust if needed). As a native speaker, I make sure students are exposed not only to grammar and vocabulary but also to authentic pronunciation, expressions, and cultural context. I adapt each lesson to the student’s goals — whether that’s improving conversational fluency, preparing for exams, or building confidence as a beginner. For more advanced learners, I introduce structured writing exercises alongside grammar, conjugation, and dictation, as these are essential parts of mastering the language. In terms of qualifications, I was born and raised in Venice, studied Italian at Higher Level (HL) in sixth form, and am now studying Business at the University of Edinburgh. English is my second language, which means I understand the challenges of learning another language and can support students through them. I offer lessons for all levels and ages.

My fee for beginners wishing to learn Italian is £25 per hour online and £30 per hour in person. For GCSE, Sixth Form and University level Italian tutoring, the rate is £40 per hour online and £45 per hour in person.”
