About Tim
I started attending piano classes at the age of 9 at the Municipal Academy for Music, Word and Dance in Oudenaarde. I graduated in the Ensemble option in 2014, after which I studied the basics of jazz for another three years and graduated again in 2017, in the Instrument option.
In addition, from the age of 13 I also took lessons in percussion (drum, xylophone, timpani, djembe...) at the same academy. For this I graduated for the first time in 2019 and this year I will graduate again, within the option Rhythmic Percussion, Jazz/Pop/Rock.
Finally, I will also graduate from the SAE Institute Brussels in 2022, where I am following a higher education for a certificate in Electronic Music Production.

I personalize my lessons to and in consultation with the students so that their goals for piano are the focus of the lessons.
This can be done from different angles: playing covers of favorite music, deepening insight into music theory, reading scores, learning to improvise, improving technique, making your own compositions...
My motivation is to be able to transfer my passion and love for piano and music in general to my students, regardless of level or age.
