About Ortega

I am a very patient person, I intend to make every lesson as fun, engaging, and exciting as possible, inciting students to have the same passion for learning as I do for teaching. I am very excited to share my knowledge and love for this language. I will make sure every student feels comfortable with the teachings, methods, and material we would be learning. As a native Spanish speaker myself, I understand this language must not be easy to learn, being said this I will make lessons as easy and interactive as possible.

About the lesson

My teaching style and techniques are tailored to each student's learning style, pace, and final goal. My main focus is speaking, writing, listening, and reading, while also working on grammar and vocabulary. I use real-life materials like dialogues to keep lessons engaging, incorporating repetition and practice exercises like conversations to help with fluency and memory. For the first lessons, I would be focusing on getting to know the student's learning style; what they feel most comfortable with and the level they are at. A general lesson plan would include: Review of the previous lessons. Introduction to a new topic (grammar, vocabulary, writing, speaking, reading). Guided practice like translation, or reading comprehension. Speaking or writing exercises applying what was learned. Personalized homework or practice suggestions. I personalize every lesson to match the student's pace, interests, and goals. My goal is to make them feel comfortable and confident using this language in the real world. I am patient, encouraging, and passionate about making this language learning experience fun and rewarding. I offer Spanish lessons for all levels; beginners, intermediate or just advanced looking to practice. This includes: Elementary, Middle, High School- to college students and adults.
