About Kate
I am an experienced lecturer teaching within colleges and online schools. I now work at a corporate level as a Senior Project Manager running IT and Health projects across the world. I am able to teach a variety of subject areas such as Health and Social Care, Psychology, Business, Management, English History and professional skills. I hold a Master's Degree in Project Management and have two Bachelor's degrees - one in Integrative Health and another in History. If anyone knows what colleges and universities expect and need to succeed it’s me! I can support with academic writing, referencing and dissertations. I also hold a wealth of skills in the professional sector and have 21 years experience in the working world. My interview skills sessions have yet to fail any student I have taught with an interview. I can help you develop in your role and help you grow professionally. I have a massive skill base in coaching and professional development. Pitching and presentations are also something I can assist with including job applications, job seeking, interviewing techniques and role play, CV writing, work, projects and reporting, managing a team and management training. Throw any professional or business/job role problem my way and I will help you fix it. I believe heavily on helping people to develop to be their best self. I can also assist with essay writing, presentations, dissertations, referencing, GCSE’s, A Levels, project work and exam revision and studying. I can tutor school level up to university level. I feel it is important for my students to tell me how they prefer to be taught. Everyone learns differently and I like to adapt my sessions to the individual. I can structure lessons via Skype/podcast/email/face to face/power points and via remote access. This can include lecturing/examples/reviewing of work/videos/group work/tutorial/reflection. I am very approachable and friendly and make my lessons informative and fun. Enjoying learning is the key to learning!
