About Ida Mangohamster

Hi, my name's Ida. I'm from Mexico. I really enjoy traveling and learning languages. I've been learning languages more than 15 years including English, Italian, German, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Cantonese and others.
I have travelled to some places in Europe, Asia and America. I really love Japan, Korea and Hong Kong culture, history and politics.
I've taken a 240-hour specialization in Asia culture, politics, history and religion: East and Southeast Asian, Middle East and ASEAN.
Among my hobbies are reading, swimming and water sports.

I have a B.A. in Modern Languages, Italian and Literature with a specialization in Linguistics and Translation by UNAM National Autonomous University of Mexico 2014-2019

I possess a CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) by Cambridge 2020. During this 120-hour course i learned lesson planning, teaching materials creation, assessment and the appropriate use of Zoom for teaching individuals and groups.

From 2020-2022 I took DIAPELE (Advanced Diploma in Teaching Spanish for foreigners by UNAM National Autonomous University of Mexico. During this 260 hour course, I had real practice with students from different countries and I learned teaching methodology, linguistics, communication, culture and evaluation. That means that I'm prepared to teach culture and history from Mexico, and I can choose the best approach to teach each student according to their own needs and level.

I have experience teaching online and face-to-face students from different ages: kids, teenagers and adults. I also have experience teaching different specialized courses, such as, Medical Spanish, Business English, DELE, SIELE and IELTS preparation, kids lessons, culture and history.

About the lesson

I've experience helping students to prepare for IELTS, TOEFL and TOEIC

I'll check your current level and I'll choose the best textbooks or materials for you.

During the lesson we'll work on mock exams and past papers and we'll review your weaker points.

Please notice that you already should have previous knowledge and you must spend some extra time outside the lesson to practice by yourself.

Our main goal will be to improve your score and check your timing.

這老師教西班牙文教得好好，佢好熱心和主動去幫助和解決我的問題，還用一些很有趣的方法令我把一些以往記不到的單詞記住。她還熟識不同主題的西班牙語，令我可以很全面地學習不同的主題。 This teacher teaches Spanish very well. She is very enthusiastic and proactive to help me and solve my problems. She uses some very interesting methods to make me remember some words that I could not remember before.
