About Ben
For me, teaching isn’t just about sharing knowledge — it’s about translating complex ideas into something that actually clicks. When I studied Business, I realised how often students get stuck, not because they lack ability, but because no one explained it in a way that made sense to them. That challenge excites me: finding the right words, examples, or questions that suddenly turn confusion into confidence. Tutoring gives me the chance to create those “lightbulb moments” — and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a student walk away knowing they can do it.

Hi! My name’s Ben, and I’m passionate about helping students unlock their full potential in Business Studies. Having achieved an A* at A-Level, I know what it takes to succeed in the subject, and I’m currently studying Finance and Business at the University of Edinburgh, one of the UK’s top universities for business education. I specialise in supporting GCSE and A-Level students, offering clear, structured lessons that not only cover the content but also focus on exam technique and confidence-building. My approach is student-centred: I take the time to understand how you learn best, and I adapt my teaching style accordingly. One of my strongest qualities is communication. I believe complex business concepts can always be explained in simple, relatable ways, and I pride myself on making sessions engaging, encouraging, and effective. Parents and students often say that my ability to listen and explain clearly makes all the difference. Whether you’re aiming for top grades, need help with tricky topics, or simply want to feel more confident going into exams, I’d love to help you achieve your goals.
