About Nicole

I have always been extremely passionate about foreign languages and music, which for me are strictly related. In fact, they both concern sounds. Many people in London ask me: "Why do you sound so English?", and I can never really answer that question. I think that over the years I have developed a good method to learn a language in depth and naturally emulate its sounds. After all, learning a language is a bit like acting, isn’t it? In the past I have studied English, French, German, Spanish and Latin and ultimately I decided to study Comparative Literature in London, which gave me the opportunity to approach literary texts from every corner of the world in original language.

About the lesson

My teaching method is highly interactive. It aims to find areas the are of interest for the student, allowing the learning process to be more stimulating and fun. I think that the key is to be constantly engaging with the material and adopting a playful approach to the subject, in both oral and written communication. Dedication is fundamental, and building strong grammar foundations is the starting point before moving onto the idiomatic side of it! We will be reading texts you are interested in and we will analyse them together so that your vocabulary can gradually expand. Before you know it you will be able to converse fluently and confidently!
