About Baaks

Many students struggle to distinguish between French nasal sounds when they first begin their journey. I confess that I still find the rhythmic flow of the language to be the most challenging yet beautiful part to teach.

We focus on the precision of liaison and intonation to help you sound natural in professional settings. You get free access to my vocabulary and grammar notes to aid your independent study.

My sessions cater to everyone from teens to professionals preparing for DELF or DELE exams. I use my 5 years of experience to make business French and interview preparation feel approachable rather than intimidating. We spend time on writing skills to sharpen your formal communication. It is a process.

About the lesson

I keep a collection of travel journals written in 3 different languages on my desk. Language is my primary lens for seeing the world. My background includes a degree from Middlebury College and 5 years of active teaching.

I find that the multilingual student is my favorite kind of person to engage with in a classroom. We often discuss the nuances of cultural shifts as much as the grammar itself.

It is a fascinating process. I prioritize a clear and consistent method for every learner. My teaching approach remains grounded in analytical clarity and steady encouragement.
