About Syafiq
I believe Mathematics becomes much easier when students truly understand the basics instead of simply memorizing formulas. I focus on creating a comfortable learning environment where students are encouraged to ask questions and learn at their own pace.
With a Diploma in Information Technology and as an ACCA part-qualified student, I have a strong foundation in numbers, logic and problem-solving. I also have experience tutoring IGCSE Mathematics, helping my student achieve an A.
My goal is not only to improve grades, but to help students become more confident and independent when solving Mathematics problems.

My lessons focus on helping students truly understand Mathematics rather than simply memorizing formulas. I start by strengthening the fundamentals and identifying areas where the student needs more support before gradually progressing to more challenging questions. I use step-by-step explanations, guided practice, and real exam-style questions to build confidence and problem-solving skills. For IGCSE students, I also incorporate past-year questions, exam techniques, and time-management strategies. Lessons typically last between 1–2 hours and are suitable for Form 1–3, IGCSE and SPM students of different ability levels. My teaching style is patient and adaptable, allowing each student to learn at a pace that works for them.
