About Sidhant

I am btech undergrad in electronics and communication engineering department at NIT Rourkela. I had a keen interest in mathematics for as long as I can remember. I have made a lot of mistakes during my student career and I am grateful for each one of them, because mistakes teach you more than anything in life. I want my students to be unafraid of making mistakes and think freely to full extent of your understanding and imagination. It dosen't matter if we don't arrive at the solution at our first attempt or not earlier than we did. It is my objective to make my students have the courage to attempt any given problem with worrying if they'll get it right. I want to not just expand your knowledge on the subject but expand your horizon of thinking and inculcate a mindset of creating problem solving.

About the lesson

Most people learn through analogy. In everything u can see people learn by aping previously proven methodologies. It great, makes people feel safe from making mistakes. But that's exactly what I don't want to implement. To arrive at the solutions to complex problems, often requires the tweaking minute intricacies that are often ignored. It is proven fact that it takes more mental energy to learn something from the first principle approach,one often taken by physicists. It is where we begin with what we know is absolutely true and arrive at conclusions on our own. The very essence of my class will be based on teaching a topic from ground up in a fluid manner that no students shall ever have to depend on anything but themselves when solving a problems. I believe learning problem solving skills is much more important than learning how to solve a particular type of problem.
