With Background in Engineering, I will make my students love Mathematics, Arithmetic and Physics .
I will love to prepare students to take Engineering or any science course in the university by preparing them for SAT and other qualifying tests .
My methods of teaching will include
1: Teaching with approved text books/ workbooks
2: Giving assignments and solving the questions together after submitting and marking of scripts .
3: Solving past questions with my students to give them confidence to face registered examinations.
I have helped a lot of students who hate mathematics to love the subject by teaching from the basics .
Students would to encouraged to know the impact of Mathematics and Physics on STEM fields, liberal arts and even the humanities.
Struggling mathematics students would be taught the subject with the followings
- pictures , diagrams and charts
- logic behind mathematics and physics formulas
- forming students into groups to discuss problems
- focusing on their strengths to give them confidence.
I have used Mathematics and Physics as tools in my chosen profession of Mechanical Engineering. Students would be encouraged to see the practicability of these subjects in their chosen STEM courses.
