About Catherine
I am a dedicated tutor with a BSc in Biochemistry and Chemistry, currently completing my Medical Laboratory Assistant program with a 4.3 GPA. I have over 15 years of experience teaching and coaching students in dance and extracurricular activities, as well as tutoring chemistry and math. I also served as a Teaching Assistant during my degree. After university, I spent 10 years working in corporate digital marketing and social media management, which strengthened my communication skills and ability to explain concepts in a clear and engaging way. Working across science, education, and the corporate world has taught me to be organized, adaptable, and focused on student success. I bring patience, encouragement, and real-world experience to every lesson, and I love helping students feel confident and capable in their learning.

My lessons focus on building strong problem-solving skills and real understanding—not just memorizing formulas. With a BSc in Biochemistry/Chemistry and experience as a Chemistry TA, plus 15 years of coaching and teaching, I know how to explain complex ideas in clear, simple ways.
Each session is tailored to what you need. We can work through specific homework or assignments, review broader concepts, or prepare for upcoming tests. I guide students through step-by-step methods they can use throughout their academic journey, so they leave confident and capable, not overwhelmed.
