About Mahdi
I am an incoming Computer Science student at KCL having previously attended NCS for sixth form. Both are highly selective and competitive institutes in which I have had the pleasure of benefitting from. My time at the NCS has shaped my academic journey, and I am eager to share the knowledge and skills I've acquired from the strong academic teaching to the university and apprenticeship preparation.
With years of both professional and informal tutoring experience, including teaching at a tuition centre and privately, I have developed a passion for helping students grasp complex concepts by breaking them down into easy-to-understand parts. My approach is tailored to each student’s unique learning style, ensuring that every session is both engaging and effective.

I have worked at a tuition centre for 2 years as of September 2024 so have experience in working with groups from small groups of 2-5 and larger groups of about 10. I also have experience of working 1-1 with students. Being a student myself and having recently gone through what my students are going through, I understand the struggles faced by students and am able to break down complicated concepts into simple, easy ideas.
I offer tutoring at both GCSE and A level online. This can be 1-1 or as a group (2-4 students).
For GCSE I offer tutoring in Maths, Further Maths and all 3 sciences
For A level I offer tutoring for Maths, Physics (with the turning points option) and Further maths (FP1, FP2 options)
I can also offer advice and help on subject selection and possible future prospects like college, university and degree apprenticeships.

The first 2 hours of lessons are offered at the 17.5/hr rate. This allows for a taster of the services I provide. Thereafter, I charge a rate of 20/hr.
