About Warren

I am a Bachelor of Science graduate who studied Chemistry at the University of Alberta. I am a passionate and enthusiastic individual who places a great emphasis on the foundations for success and uses this to get the most out of myself. In high school, I achieved 99% on the Math 30-1 Diploma and a 97% on the Chemistry 30-1 Diploma. I also achieved an A+ grade in 7 organic chemistry university courses. I have tutored students for 5+ years in math, chemistry, and biology. As well, I have tutored clients with sight loss on technology. I will make a great tutor because I understand that if someone develops the right framework in mind, they will be successful in whatever subject.

About the lesson

If you are having trouble with tricky concepts and finding it difficult to stay on top of schoolwork, I am able to help. My sessions are very flexible; we can work on specific homework, go over course material, and do strategy-building activities. My goal is for you to be able to develop your own effective solutions, so you will be successful in your schooling! Ultimately, the lessons are 100% catered to your needs. What I like to do with my students is that first, I emphasize the fundamental concepts of any system, and then go through various practice exercises to reinforce weak points in the concept. I believe that applying what you know is the best way to learn. I believe everyone can be a critical thinker, and all someone needs to do is refine their thinking so that it will bring success in each course subject.
