About Manuel

Science starts with a single question about why things react the way they do in nature. Looking at a beaker, I see molecules in constant motion instead of static ingredients. My 13 years of experience allows me to break down complex reaction mechanisms into logical, manageable steps for students.

I hold a BSc in Chemical Physics from the University of Sydney, which informs my approach. This degree allows me to connect physical chemistry to inorganic principles through simple reasoning. Chemistry is truly an exercise in building a mental map of the invisible, which I find personally rewarding to explore.

About the lesson

Many students get stuck on the mole concept because they try to memorize formulas without understanding the underlying ratios. Rote learning is actually the least effective way to handle thermodynamics or acids and bases.

I provide weekly problem sets with step-by-step solutions to ensure students grasp the foundational logic before moving forward. By focusing on physical chemistry and electrochemistry, we move past abstract confusion. I bring my background from the University of Sydney into every discussion to clarify difficult concepts.

There is a distinct sense of relief when a student realizes that science is just a series of logical deductions. Seeing that lightbulb moment is what makes teaching these topics genuinely satisfying for me.
