About Mehr

I am a First-Class BSc Biology graduate and currently an MBBS medical student, with over five years of tutoring experience. I have taught students across SATs, 11+ and GCSE level, helping them strengthen their subject knowledge, improve exam technique and become more confident learners.

My approach is structured, patient and tailored to each student. I have supported 11+ pupils preparing for competitive entrance examinations and GCSE students aiming for higher grades across a range of subjects.

As both an experienced tutor and current medical student, I understand the importance of clear explanations, consistency and effective study habits. My aim is to make challenging content easier to understand while ensuring every student is well prepared for their assessments and examinations.

About the lesson

# About My Lessons

My lessons focus on helping students understand the content rather than simply memorising it. I combine strong subject teaching with focused exam preparation, so students develop both the knowledge and the techniques needed to perform confidently under exam conditions.

Every lesson is tailor-made to the individual student. I identify their strengths, weaker areas and academic goals before adapting lessons accordingly. For 11+ students, preparation is specialised towards the specific schools and entrance examinations they are targeting, including the different question styles, content and techniques required. For GCSE students, lessons are adapted to their relevant exam board and specification.

Lessons include a mixture of teaching, guided practice, exam-style questions, timed exercises and detailed feedback. I also focus heavily on exam technique, including how to interpret questions, structure answers, manage time effectively and avoid common mistakes.

I am a First-Class BSc Biology graduate and current MBBS medical student, with over 5 years of tutoring experience across SATs, 11+ and GCSE subjects. I have worked with students of different abilities and learning styles and aim to make difficult topics clear, structured and manageable.

My lessons are online only and typically last between 1 and 3 hours, depending on the student's age, concentration, subject and goals. I mainly teach students aged 8–16, covering SATs preparation, 11+ entrance examinations and GCSE preparation.
