About Nobantu

Hello! I'm Nobantu, a qualified TEFL tutor with a BSc in Agriculture and experience teaching learners of different ages and backgrounds. I offer supportive, personalised lessons in English and isiZulu, helping students improve their confidence, understanding, and academic performance. My lessons are patient, engaging, and tailored to each learner's goals, whether they need exam preparation, homework support, or help mastering challenging concepts.

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Nobantu, and I am a passionate tutor with a BSc Agriculture degree and experience teaching learners of different ages and backgrounds. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, engaging, and easy to understand while helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.

My teaching approach is learner-centred, meaning that I tailor every lesson to the individual student's needs, learning style, and pace. I believe that every learner is capable of success when given the right support and encouragement. I break down difficult concepts into simple, practical explanations and use interactive activities, discussions, and examples to make learning more effective.

I am fluent in English and isiZulu and can teach in both languages when needed. This allows me to support learners who may feel more comfortable learning in either language.

In a typical lesson, students can expect a welcoming and supportive environment, clear explanations, guided practice, opportunities to ask questions, and constructive feedback. I focus not only on improving subject knowledge but also on developing confidence and independent learning skills.

My lessons are suitable for primary school, high school, and adult learners. I offer support in English, isiZulu, Life Sciences, exam preparation, homework assistance, and general academic support. Whether you need help catching up, improving your grades, or preparing for an important exam, I will work with you to create a learning plan that meets your goals.
