About Amir

I have a high competency in both Math, Physics, and English. I scored a full 800 in SAT math and have completed college level calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra. I have 2 years of experience tutoring. My undergraduate degree is in Physics and I will be doing starting my Masters in physics at an Ivy League institution this year. My research is in computational physics so I also have a solid background coding in Java and Python. Feel free to ask questions!

About the lesson

My lessons are straightforward and goal-oriented. I am thorough in my teaching approach and like to explore every question that my students have. If a student is motivated, I can guarantee results. However, I also focus on making my lectures engaging and enjoyable. If you are looking for a competent, exciting, and professional tutor, I am the one for you!

Amir is super knowledgeable in many areas, but especially in math. He helped me the most when I was struggling with calculus, and was able to explain the subject to me in a way I could understand. He is an amazing tutor who I highly recommend!

I started out just friends with Amir before learning what a math and physics whiz he is. Coincidentally, I was taking physics and STRUGGLING as it is my worst subject, so I employed Amir to tutor me. Amir really helped me understand the topics in intuitive ways. I always felt supported by him - his explanations are clear, personalized, and never condescending.
