I recently took a contemporary dance class with Jenifer Dillow, and it was an amazing experience! She is an energetic, welcoming, and patient instructor who creates a space where everyone feels safe to express themselves. Her kindness and encouragement made it easy to step out of my comfort zone and fully enjoy the movement. I left feeling inspired and more confident in my dancing. Jenifer not only creates a studio space full of support and encouragement but she embraces wherever you are at as a dancer. She celebrates you in the now and the commitment to not only entrust her with furthering your training but to also feel safe in moving your body as a dancer. Each private I have had with Jen we have spent time on warmups, technique and strengthening. Even the little wins are celebrated and she reminds her students that they are the steps towards the big wins. Additionally in each class she preps a short combo that we can either learn as a “one and done” to keep skill sets of learning combos on the fly polished or having the option to further build upon each week - leading to a longer combo retention and even possible choreography you can utilize within a dance or mover reel! Jen will meet any dancer/mover where they are at and help them grow into a more confident performer through and through. Highly recommended working with Jen while she still has the availability! :)

Jen is not only an incredible dancer & artist, but she is the most patient, understanding, kind, safe and most helpful teacher! I just turned 30 in August, and I’ve been coming to Jen to ask if I could work with her privately to learn a dance combination to a song that I am very inspired by. Without much previous dance training in my background, Jen has been so patient to work with me; helping me feel seen, heard, and guided through this goal of learning to dance and express myself through this art medium.

I am certain that Jen makes everyone she works with feel safe, seen and guided as a teacher!
