About James
I am passionate about teaching in a way that ensures students make long-lasting progress. I take time to understand the needs of each child and then use my 25 years of experience to create tailored lessons.
I have taught in a wide range of schools in the UK, Spain and Dubai from years 1 to 9. I am very patient and teach at a pace that supports each child. My experience means I have a deep knowledge of how children learn and what the best quality teaching should consist of.
Learning with me is focused, fun and based on the best British Curriculum pedagogy. I am committed to high quality and value for money lessons.

I have a student-focused approach to lessons that are designed around each child's needs and goals. My lessons are interactive and engaging, with lots of practical learning combining clear teaching with supportive practice and real-life links. There are resources to use after the lesson to practice and embed skills for success.
Lessons are taught online and at a pace to suit each child to ensure deep understanding and to improve progress and grade outcomes. Each lesson is tailored to the needs of the child, with a clear focus on instilling confidence and success.
Lessons are usually 45 - 60 minutes, but I am flexible depending on the student's needs and age.
As a British teacher I have the NPQH Headteacher qualification and I have been teaching for 25 years, with 20 of those in Dubai. I understand how to meet the expectations and standards required for exams, including the GL Progress Tests and NGRT.
