About Connie
I'm principally a communications practitioner, honed in academics, business and nonprofits --college professor in an Asian university, advertising and marketing executive with Leo Burnett, certified in ESL, IELTS, TOEFL, other English exams and with a rich experience in mentoring foreign students from the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Africa, Central America and the USA. My English students stay with me far longer than initially programmed, well into their doctoral years. I graduated B.A. in English, University of San Francisco (California) and completed Communications Masterial Coursework from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and some MBA units from Rushmore University.

Every student gets a personalized plan of instruction and I stay with them until concepts are clear and they are able to correctly articulate back their own understanding of the lesson. I'm an AI certified writer granted by Writing.io. I discuss Artificial Intelligence writing and how it can help students and its impact on the learning processes. I teach all adult academic levels, US citizenship oral interview and English exams for immigrants and job interview preparations for job seekers.
