About Diego

Oi, gente! Tudo bem? I am Diego de Oliveira, your Brazilian teacher of Portuguese language. Do you want to learn a new language? Do you want to talk to your Brazilian friends and family? - Bachelor’s degree in Portuguese, English and Latin languages and literatures from São Paulo State University (Unesp), the third best public university in Brazil - 2019.
- Master in Linguistics - São Paulo State University (Unesp) - 2021. ‍
- Doctoral student in Linguistics - São Paulo State University (Unesp) - 2023. - As a specialist in oral proficiency assessment, I have been published articles and book chapters about language learning. Researcher at São Paulo State University (Unesp) sponsored by Brazilian federal agency in the field of Applied Linguistics. Former Researcher at University of Pisa (Italy).

About the lesson

I have been teaching people from all over the world, with different backgrounds, learning needs and goals. I am sure that I can help you to improve your Portuguese language skills! I have 7 years of experience teaching languages in private and public schools and I have been teaching online for 3 years. More than 6500 lessons taught online. One of my GREATEST differentials is that I have my own program and materials which were created and organized according to the real needs of Portuguese students. My methodology is communicative: you will learn Portuguese through real and practical situations, improving naturally your speaking, writing, reading and listening skills. I teach beginners, intermediate and advanced speakers - and I am a specialist in adult learning! I am rated as 4.9 by my students!
