About Matteo
I am an Italian student from Rome studying Economics and Data Science at Yale University. I am currently on a gap year and will go back to Yale in January to complete my degree, before joining McKinsey in NYC next fall.
I have tutored students at Yale and have really enjoyed it. I find it fun to see how students progressively get better and more comfortable with the language and, being my native tongue, I also feel some pride in spreading the word!
My lessons are geared to be as fun and productive as possible, by minimizing time wasted while keeping the variety of activities high.

My approach is to make the learning experience as fun and productive as possible. Having tutored at my university, I have found that lessons should not be longer than 50-60mins when focused on theory, and about 90mins when integrated with oral practice.
My lessons usually start with a short dialogue to assess the student's abilities and to practice oral skills. Depending on the requirements, the lesson will continue with either theory or more oral practice.
I can teach any age and level.
