About Hussain

I am an experienced tutor from London, and in teach English to foreign students. I have taught all over the world including Italy, Mexico, Cuba and also, of course, London and the UK. I am CTEFLA qualified and specialise in training for the IELTS test. I see myself more like a consultant rather than a teacher - since I guide people towards better English and exam results. I don't call it teaching rather to help you learn better and use the language better. I can communicate in three languages (Spanish, Italian, Bengali) - two of them I have learnt so I know what it is like to learn a language from zero not just to teach it. I am also learning Mandarin and Latin.

About the lesson

My sessions are based on developing your confidence by focusing on your language skills and communication. I also help you with the technical aspects of the language - the grammar and the words but most importantly focus on your ability to use the language. It also depends on what you want - if for example you want to pass an exam, then I will focus on exam techniques as well as the language.

Very good, very intelligent teacher! He created a relaxed learning atmosphere for me and dared me to speak English boldly. My language fluency has improved greatly. At the same time, this teacher is very methodical in his approach, he has given me lots of interesting resources and has corrected many of my misconceptions about language learning so that I can find my way! I am very lucky to have found an experienced, professional and native English speaking teacher.

I have known Hussain for a long time and have collaborated with him on some drama projects where he worked with ordinary young people from different backgrounds and got them to develop scripts based on their life experiences and produce drama pieces. He is a good tutor and has good English language knowledge and skills. I would highly recommend him for tutoring. He is professional, has a strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.

Hussain is a dedicated and qualified teacher with almost two decades of experience teaching english. He gets involved with his students to look over their development and has a non traditional way of teaching, focusing on developing a natural way to learn the language, and involving the students on readings and activities related to their context.
