About Ridwanullah
I'm a TEFL-certified English instructor with over 3 years of experience teaching more than 500 students, from elementary learners to working adults, across online academies, public schools, and international summer programs. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and I'm currently pursuing an MBA, which helps me approach lesson planning in a structured, results-driven way. I've taught students in over 15 countries and maintain a 4.9/5.0 student satisfaction rating. Beyond English, I speak basic Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese, which helps me connect with learners from different cultural backgrounds. I'm patient, encouraging, and genuinely passionate about helping students build real confidence in reading, spelling, and communication, not just memorize rules.

My teaching approach centers on making reading and spelling feel achievable and even fun, rather than like a chore. I use a mix of communicative and task-based methods: instead of just drilling word lists, I connect spelling and vocabulary to topics the student actually cares about, whether that's a book series, a hobby, or something happening at school. I believe kids learn best in a relaxed environment where they feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.
