About Violet

With 5 years of tutoring experience, I specialise in teaching French to high school and college students and have guided 150–200 students towards academic success. My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding, consistency, and encouragement.

I believe learning French should not feel stressful, so I create lessons that are structured yet flexible. I explain concepts in simple English and make sure students understand grammar and vocabulary clearly before moving ahead. My lessons include reading, writing, listening, and speaking practice to support overall language development. I customise my teaching approach based on each student’s goals and learning needs.

I assist students with exam preparation, coursework, and long-term improvement. One of my key achievements is helping students improve their grades and confidence in French. Many students now enjoy learning the language and participate actively in class.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching French combines real-life application, flexible learning, collaboration, and compassionate guidance. I use practical examples and case studies from daily life, travel, education, and professional communication to make lessons meaningful. I personalise lesson plans according to each student’s learning style and pace.

Collaboration is encouraged through interactive speaking tasks and guided discussions that improve fluency. Compassion is at the heart of my teaching, and I focus on motivating students and building confidence.

Along with French language instruction, I also teach grammar, vocabulary development, pronunciation and phonetics, reading comprehension, writing skills, conversational French, cultural awareness, and exam preparation.
