About Selena
I have a Bachelor Degree in Education. I have taught in a variety of Sydney and Blue Mountains Schools. I have taught classes between Kindergarten and Year 6.
Throughout my years teaching I became aware of the need for tutoring. I understand the benefits of one on one, individual tutoring and how it can build the pupil’s self esteem and confidence, whereas in a classroom environment sometimes these students can often shy away and this can result in effecting their education.

The initial tutor session we would establish together what the student knows and what the gaps are, their learning style and what goal they would ultimately like to achieve.
I would tailor the lessons based on their individual needs. Being mindful to nurture and further develop and extend their knowledge and understanding.
