As an international student at King’s College London, I have experienced firsthand the challenges of adjusting to new educational environments and navigating complex STEM subjects. My journey has motivated me to create better learning opportunities for others, regardless of background or location. I am deeply committed to helping students reach their full potential by breaking down difficult concepts and making them more accessible. My approach is rooted in understanding each student’s unique learning style and providing personalised support. I aim to make learning interactive and engaging, ensuring that students not only understand the concepts but also feel confident applying them. My approach is centred around breaking down complex topics into simpler, digestible parts. I use a combination of visual aids, real-world examples, and step-by-step explanations to make abstract concepts in STEM more accessible. A. I focus on practical problem-solving during lessons, allowing students to tackle real-world scenarios, especially in subjects like mathematics, physics, and programming. B. Rather than relying solely on lectures, I encourage students to participate actively, ask questions, and think critically about the subject matter. C. I incorporate online resources, educational software, and coding platforms (for STEM subjects) to enhance learning and engagement. Typically, each lesson lasts between 60 to 90 minutes. This length allows enough time to cover a specific topic thoroughly while keeping the session focused and effective. As a biomedical engineering student at King’s College London, I have a strong foundation in STEM subjects, especially biology, physics, and mathematics. I have experience teaching high school students and university peers, both for A-Levels, IGCSEs, and AP courses. My tutoring experience extends to online classes, where I’ve successfully guided students through various STEM concepts, ensuring their understanding and exam preparation.
